METOLAT® – Advanced Wetting & Dispersing Agents for Coatings and Pigments

The METOLAT® line from Münzing includes silicone-free wetting, dispersing, and leveling agents designed for aqueous and emulsion-based systems. METOLAT® 285 doubles as a wetting agent and low-foam defoamer in alkaline systems, improving substrate penetration while controlling foaming issues.

In other grades like METOLAT® 288, 340, 342, the focus is on excellent wetting and leveling in waterborne coatings with minimal foam—suitable for pigments that are difficult to wet.
