Silicone impregnation agents and priming coats

Silsan® systems from Graf Chemie combine silanes, siloxanes, and silicone resins to create a durable, invisible barrier that repels water while preserving vapor permeability. By penetrating deeply and anchoring within the pore structure, they help prevent efflorescence, algae and mould growth, frost damage, and other moisture-driven defects—without altering the natural appearance of the substrate.

Available as water-thinnable micro-emulsions, solvent-containing concentrates, and micro-concentrates, Silsan® products suit both new build and renovation. Typical uses include substrate impregnation before topcoats, hydrophobization of absorbent façades and exterior walls, bricks, clinker, natural and artificial stone, factory-made mineral materials, and bore-hole injection/wall-drainage against rising damp. The result is long-lasting, UV- and weather-resistant protection that supports cleaner surfaces, longer maintenance cycles, and reliable performance in real-world conditions.
